Is it a sport?

Seems to be just sitting in the car simply turning the steering wheel, people often ask me whether it takes any effort to race, some suspect if motorsport qualifies as a sport.

I wore my sports watch and recorded my heart rate during the endurance race, and make a simple comparison with a half marathon race I ran last week. I forgot to stop recording when I got out of the car, the actual driving time should be about two hours(mandatory max) with 77 laps done, similar to my run time in my 21 km half marathon: * It took me less time to run, but consume 150 more calories than racing * Racing’s heart rate generally 140-160, a moderate aerobic zone * Running’s heart rate generally 160-180, considered high intensity
