Withdrawing from TCR China

The 4th round of TCR China is scheduled this weekend in Ningbo, but I’ve decided to withdraw from the remaining races of the championship. The repair costs in the last few rounds are a cause for concern, with the car took a lot of damages in the last three race weekends. To be honest I was already concerned after the two eventful weekends in Shanghai. The engine was completely replaced in Zhejiang last week, but again it was heavily damaged.

Problems like this need to be managed; budget handling is always a part of motorsport, I believe this would be the best decision now. If looking at the positives, I could start focus on next season, a strategic decision for the challenges ahead. My #26 Golf GTi TCR has always been competitive, but yet to yield more results than she deserves.
