Leave no stone unturned

The last qualifying in Shanghai, I missed the P4 position by 0.032s, the difference between starting from the second row and the third row.

When chasing for the last hundred of a second, I started to consider if that extra kilogram will make the difference. I control my weight through exercise and diet, also race with my windows closed for less air disturbance/drag in a cockpit up to 40 degrees.

I know that advantage is microscopic, or even doesn’t exist in reality, people often ask if that’s really necessary, I just don’t want to look back and realize I wasn’t doing the best that I possibly could. But honestly a 30 minutes race is not that physically demanding.
